Can't log into WRT54G v3 after flash

Flashed my WRT54G ver. 3 to the generic DD-WRT 23 sp1. Initially I could log into it with user name "root" and my previous password. But then nothing I used worked.

default is:
login: root
pass: admin

did you reset your router to factory defaults after flashing it ?

Reset it now and reconfigure it.

That user/pass combo worked. Thanks a alot. Wish it said so in the readme.
