I've been reading threads and threads and I'm seeing a general trend with much less (or no) replies, half answered solutions, or "Google it". I remember when I first got here (2008 or 2009) a lot of people helped me out select my router on my needs after first reading the Peacock thread and general information in the wiki.....Now a few threads I've asked are answred by very few people or by a developer (thanks: you make this better and help us).
I understand some users want to get spoonfed and that has never been the style around here but other are asking questions that involve some knowledge.....
So what do you think: Are users getting less friendly and helpful?

well, if they are it's because dd-wrt seems to be getting buggier as dev progresses (still running on 17201 here, thinking of going back to 14929, but would miss some changes). some of the documentation is out of date, some rare features dont quite work as expected in that case, gets frustrating, you know. some random bugs creeping into the latest builds.
wherever there's a problem, there is an underlying cause.
