Hi all,

Lately I've been finding dd-wrt more and more unstable... most of the time the load average will eventually become 1.00 for no reason, which may stay that way for many hours until the next daily scheduled reboot, or crash. Then every so often http and ssh will crash completely; only now I've been able to telnet in to find a truly ridiculous load average of 80+ with lots of check_ps threads which I have no idea what it means. Is there anything I can do to further narrow down the cause of these high load averages? I am unable to use dd-wrt until this is solved :(

I'm using:
dd-wrt pre-SP2 25/12/08 build (latest)
P3 866 mhz
128 SD ram
20GB HD
2x old NIC

Thanks

Thanks for the suggestion.

However I'd like to narrow this problem down if it is at all possible before I start replacing hardware. Is there anything I can do in telnet that can help you or hte devs?

well delete "nvram" partition contents (equivalent to MTD nvram erase) to have totally fresh start.
