Links are in the peacock announcement. Read it. You want repeater or repeater bridge, depending on how much you wish to isolate the mother in lan.

If you are unable to understand the instructions in the wiki and this thread, you should likely not flash your router until you do. Lots could go wrong due to misunderstanding.

Don't know squat about mifi, but if repeater bridge doesn't work, try repeater mode on the first router. Maybe the setup needs dhcp.

It's not likely to be the Netgear.

Explain everything from your ISP connection to your computer, through the bridge. How they are connected what their IP is, which has DHCP, etc.
