I have just purchased a WRT54GS-UK as the seller checked for me and says it is version 2. I've used the list on Wikipedia to make sure it was the one with 32Mb RAM/8Mb ROM. Is my assumption correct ... |

See the wiki on "linking routers". Your speed will be seriously compromised by the processor in those routers. | |

A g2 is a garbage router, and has many problems. While coupling it with a dir 655 might have worked, it might not be good enough to couple with a less powerful router. I am not sure how you missed ... |
