There's no need for any of that. Just download and flash the DD-WRT firmware built for the I1. It has its own entry in the [url=http://www.dd-wrt.com/site/support/router-database]router database.

Just want to mention that my DIR-615 E3 has been up 14 days without a hitch, in an office of 12 people. I think if you have a choice between an E3 or I1, go E3 and throw in OpenWrt.

Also, there is ...

Sorry to hear that. If I were you, I'd just try to acquire an earlier revision or different model altogether. I wish one of the developers could speak up and provide a better idea of what's going on. ...

That is possible but the problem could still be a hardware issue manifested in various ways by the software. This is why I was hoping for OpenWrt firmware. A comparison would lend weight on what was a ...

After about two months, I must say having the transmit power at 100 mW helped the problem significantly. But it didn't eliminate it. I'm still using 13064. Now I will follow barryware's experience and ...

Thanks both for your insightful posts. I always thought the DNS server list in ipconfig was showing the OS access priority.

I also didn't know the tidbit about 4.2.2.x. I'd use Google's if I didn't w ...
