I have always been under the impression that a gigabit WAN port was required to take advantange of 25Mbps services or higher.

Awesome build.
No problems encountered so far.
As some others have noted, this build seems to be have a more responsive GUI and seemingly better WLAN/LAN, WLAN/WAN speeds too.

Matches the Flash chip, plus it's the same flash chip when TJTAG does detect it.
Thanks for the feedback, but this unit is not worth investing any more time into it.

May need to try the tin foil cage approach.

Owner of the G2 brought it to me as-is.
All lights illuminated on power up ... no ping, no nothing. Even with a static IP, my laptop did not acknowledge a ...

Despite the fact that its speeding along now, a flash of CFE128 didn't make anything work.

So ... starting to spit back out that 2MB Wholeflash.

I'm am gonna snap.
I was given a WRT54GSv5 to unbrick ... bling .. done .. no problems. And that simple process has worked for many routers numerous times in the past.

Enter the fracked up WRT54G2v ...
