I know Murrkf advocates NOT using the mega builds, but personally I use them without a problem.



I advocate caution in using them on that router....not NOT.

The newer builds are working on the WL-500W pretty stable for me. I usually throw on the newer builds within the week they come out.

The NEWD2 drivers work on the WL-500W.

NEWD2 drivers are working perfectly fine with Asus WL-500W

Using the following processor: Broadcom BCM4704

rev. 9 if that's a factor. The new driver seems to work much better with the device.

I had this same problem when I tested a setup like this.

I disabled SPI firwall on the 2nd router (WRT54GS in your case) and it worked.

Try it out.
