No! You can't just edit NVRAM area (from 0x400, length 0x1000) in CFE bin image. There is CRC checking. We must use nvserial for that.

Why don't they go to the full 128k maximum available?
Maybe it is sort of like SSD where they use part of the chip as replacement cells for the other part, increasing the lifetime of the flash memo ... |

PPPoE was working fine for me with build 108 (was a bit quirky with build 102).
I switched to cable a few weeks ago however. Thanks, hoping it's a one-off. Now to wait for a DD-WRT build. |
