you can try to activate automount and plug in the HDD while DD-WRT is running. That worked for me, only after reboot the HDDs ... |

Don't forget to check your BIOS first. Maybe USB3 Support is disabled. |

If also your ext4 does not mount on USB3 its maybe a wrong BIOS-setting. |
