thanks this worked to put the httpd to port 80. for some reason http goes on port 88 whenever i run the HDSamaba script, since I am trying to get samba working.

I am also trying to use VLC. I tried using 'adduser user' then doing 'su user' then 'vlc start --http' but i am getting the problem that the filesystem is read-only and no user directory.
