i dont have syslogrotate, but can get that. Doubt it will solve the problem though...

Ok .. Upgraded/Installed optlog, rebooted router.

Still see duplicate messages, one from user.notice, the other from optware.info.

I have no idea what your "tweaks" are and why it needs these "tweaks". /opt/usr/sbin is already part of PATH in OTRW.
I think you destroyed the PATH completely.

I just did some repeated requests on http://10.63.63.1 and noticed I'm able to overload it.
I then did another test using pixelserv listening on 10.63.63.1 itself (not using xinetd)
