For what it’s worth, I scanned my DD-wrt (build 20548) from WAN and LAN with the instructions given in the article and it returned no vulnerabilities/CVEs.

Get the V2 and convert it to a 3000. The hardware is the same. The V2 has a nicer paint job.. Shiny blue instead of flat blue finish around the edges. EDIT: btw.. where is the 64.00 v2 available from ... |
