I had issues with my Xbox and tried the port forwarding and UPnP but nothing worked until I placed it in the DMZ and assigned it priority QoS. I've never had an issue since. | |

If it's one of the modems with the phone connection you can remove the battery from the unit with no issues. I have done it multiple times for clients and family. Never had an issue with it. | |
