Mine is always orange too but ever since I am using WDS then it is always orange. When WDS is off it doesn't turn orange and stays off.

The way you said what ports are open are confusing. Did you open ports:

3074 UDP AND 3074 TCP

I was looking at this router on smallnetbuilder and it says one of the antennas has an amp. Kind of like the Buffalo router. Does this mean it would be a bad idea to raise the Tx Power level?

Thanks. I'm trying to get WDS working so I was hoping to get the same builds on both the G2 and GL routers I have. So far its not so I'm just using RB as it works for now.

I have always had problems with Firefox and updating settings or flashing DDWRT. Even the stock Linksys firmware runs more smooth on Internet Explorer 7.
