well.. because you have not cleared nvram after flashing, that is your problem..

Yeah, but that's still somewhat vague. I'm a security guy, and have been for years, so maybe it's just how my brain ...

where are you seeing the trailing "=" in static leases? Gui... nvram show.. ?


nvram show. Specifically:

I "upgraded" my devices from the stable v24 release to the less-stable v24-sp2 (build 14896) firmware this weekend (standard/generic build in both cases), hoping that would resolve a problem ...

Why wouldn't you just set the router up as a DHCP forwarder (or disable DHCP all together) and turn off NAT? Then you'd still have a firewall, rather than having everything stuck right on the open In ...

Does repeater mode actually work ok when I have A-B-C, where A and C can't see each other? Seems like performance may degrade as the number of access points increases... But maybe I'm just overthink ...
