there is a file in this thread called factory-to-ddwrt.rar
not official.
do it at your own risk.
after installing i've upgraded to v18024.
it works.

How do you use the ethernet port on the WA801ND
ethernet port it's connected to a network card, intended to be used as a transparent bridge between two networks in the same subnet

yes, i am the one testing dd-wrt on tl-wa801nd (thanks to LOM for the firmware)
i am using it as client for another access point
setting it as "client bridge(routed)" or "client" ...

after i converted it from f*n to dd-wrt it seems i lost the ability to do what it was ment to do: be a wireless router; it works as a bridge and as a client but as a router i can't make it work.
