| Not sure, you'd have to try it? If not, you could write a script to do it that just checks the ip continuously and uses wget if it sees a change?

Thanks for the tip  - but I figured out the problem.
I waited 90 seconds and it became more consistent. I'm now waiting 120 seconds before reboot and all is good. I'm just way too impatie ... |
