I have the same problem as Nolar, running DD-WRT v24-sp2 (01/02/10) big - build 13575M NEWD-2 K2.6 Eko.

I have only used redirect-gateway def1 with OpenVPN in bridged mode.

Make sure the clients have the routers LAN address as the default gateway (push "route-gateway xxx" or server directive) ...
