By the way,

I should mention that I access my webserver using a DynDns url

Ex: http://myuniqueurl.com:7777

This works when the webserver PC is on.

Hi,

As you suggested, I changed port 9999 to forward to port 80 on the wl-500gP (192.168.1.2) and I can now access the GUI from the net.

Sorry I mistyped. I believe I set it up as a repeater bridge. I have a usb hdd connected to it backing up other devices using rsync.

From the wiki link you sent I gather it needs to be a wired connection to the router which it can NOT be. I made the changes and rebooted it without success.

I inserted 2gb thumbdrive that I reformatted to Ext3 and when plugged into the RT-N16 it displays data in the DiskInfo field but says its Not Mounted.
