Your PC not getting an IP-address is not a good sign.
Setting manual IP (e.g. 192.168.1.2/255.255.255.0) could work but I doubt it. Anyways, good luck. |

You did it the right way, but sometimes flashes just fail.
Really hope the Asus tool works otherwise you will have to solder an serial cable to your router. |

If everything went correctly you should get a new ip-address.
Do you see a new wireless network called DD-WRT? If not, reset your router. If that doesn't help, you have a (at least a semi-)bricked ... |

Just loaded it on my TP-Link TL-WR1043ND, wireless seems a little better in comparison to the 14xxx builds. Speeds would fluctuate between 36Mbps and 54Mbps (using G only), now a steady 54Mbps! |
