There is nothing in the dd-wrt default settings which would interfere with printing.

This is obvious, but for the record:
1. Power cycle the printer so it requests network settings via DHCP.

Strange I've had two Brother printers (an HL1440 and MFC7820N) and never had trouble reaching them through dd-wrt.

Are you able to reach the printer's admin page?

Can't help you set it up with dd-wrt, but I ran my old printer with OpenWRT and p910nd.

One normally wants router#2 to live behind the firewall. I'd drop back from the sp3beta to a stable build and give it another try. (My WDS connection works with build 5594 but none since then.)

I have a wrt54gl connected to the WAN and two clients:
1. WRT54gv1 running Tomato 1.03, WDS
2. Asus WL-500gd with Openwrt WR0.9, WET
Security is WPA Personal, AES.

The sp3beta builds from 5594 down ...

The mini version posted in this thread works for my 54GL-Belkin54G WDS. The encryption is WPA/AES.
