I've noticed that QoS is not taking effect for devices I prioritized either through the IP or the MAC. QoS do work with services.

I don't have port priority in my QoS. I'm asking because I've got a device with maximum priority but still drops the bandwidth into half whenever I use my computer connected through the ethernet port. ...

I think I kind of resolved the issue. I went to the advanced wireless settings and set the MIMO transmission fixed rate to 150Mbps. I'll be doing some further observation on this. I hope this helps ot ...

What options cause the least load? HTB causes a reboot with anything. HFSC + Codel lasts maybe 1 minute before a reboot.

Running out of ideas, don't want to have to revert back to a e4200 just for ...

jsnepo,
your router is not really designed to take advantage of the better qos mechanism.
The E1200 v2 is a single core processor. QoS is going to be using more of your routers limited resources.

I guess so. Anyway, I did try to enable QoS but set the queueing discipline to CODEL only. So far I'm not getting any reboots for 48 minutes now. That FQ_CODEL is really hardware intensive huh? Laughing
