hey,

i'm looking for a router and don't know what to do. the thing will be mainly used for wired access with some occasional wireless time. (phone, laptop etc.)

I read a bit about it and most of the people hate the stock fw on that thing. as I understood there was buffalo fw at first and dd-wrt later

i think the box is not from this router (the box says gl v1.1 and as we found out it's 5 or 6 )

@OP... The cfe you backed up, if it was a vxworks bsp, your backup is no good. Get a v5 or v6 cfe from the collection project or ftp site.

the version ON orange sticker is "ver. 1.00.0 CS:A54B"
