Firstly I've noticed that although this topic is in relation to tjtag v3-rc1 a lot of the posts still relate to tjtagv2.

I've tried using Tornado's tjtag program to erase the nvram, kernel, with a 30/30/30 reset after each erase.
I then tried a erase:wholeflash, then flashed the cfe multiple times, using the cfe's post ...

cpu chip id was recognized correctly,

failed to idendify mx29lv320abtc flash chip ,

i used /fc and other options.

erase seems work, but flash and backup doesn't work

what's the probl ...

The whole thing makes me crazy at the moment. When I don;t have the cable in my parallelport I get

Yes, you dont read the message:

Possible Causes:
1.)Device is not connected
2.)Device is not powered on
3.)Improper jtag cable
