Actually if you want everything in the same subnet then the repeater bridge I described is what you're after. I don't understand what's causing your DHCP problem, where roaming forces the DHCP server ...

Ah, I see now. I had an incomplete understanding of your problem. I didn't realize that you had no control over the DHCP server on the primary router. It is possible that settings on the primary route ...

There's no need to worry about the repeating router needing to assign separate DHCP addresses. Once you've got it set up as a repeater bridge this will be a non-issue. The roaming wireless clients wil ...

Hi I use WRT54GL routers flashed with DD-WRT for client bridge and repeater type setups. They work perfectly for this! I was wondering if Wireless N routers that support DD-WRT improve the range of th ...

Just use the "repeater bridge" mode. The 2nd router will connect to the 1st router and also act as an access point which local wireless clients can connect to. DHCP services will automatical ...

Those home-made tinfoil parabolic reflectors don't even do anything. I wouldn't waste your time...

I would instead go with directional antennas mounted outside your office and house (with as short a ...
