To find interface name just enter via console:

dmesg|grep cdc_ether
or
dmesg|grep cdc


I trust they gave dmesg in ther dd-wrt:)

Here are evidences.
Screenshots of wireless tab from 15788 and 22118.

Like you see 22118 has no wireless channel setting.
Every release for DIR 615 D after 15778 has the same bug

I see you have DIR-600 but my one is DIR-615 D3

In theory - yes. But in fact there is no channel settings in releases above 15778. That is the problem. I have tried a few newer releases but there was no channel selection.

Like you know there are two versions of WGR614v6. One of them has 29lv800 flash and second one has 29lv160 flash. When you want replace 29lv800 by 29lv160 it is necessary to mount R88 (10k).

How to use pointer resistors. It appears that 15k should pull up P/N lines to +5V and 10 ohms should be in serial with P/N lin ...

http://router_ip/backup/cfe.bin
and put one here.


Probably gui cfe editor will not work with compressed cfe.
You can try to see and edit your cfe by means of some hex editor ...

Here is original WGR614v6 flash dump. You can see inside one a lot of common with cfe variables eg. boardflags, sdram_init etc.

Interesting is fact they use reset_gpio=7 (???)
