yeah

1) hard reset
2) load linksys firmware
3) wait 2 min
4) hard reset

eth1 is wireless is it not?

Try to test throughput with Linksys firmware. You may be able to reach the full 70mbit. Yes I know it sucks, but you will need to make a choice between speed or reliabil ...

I dont understand why the cable speed wan to lan only 43 megabit max?

it's a combination of firmware and hardware limitation, specifically CPU speed (the lack of it).

rflow is in the download section. it's not hard to find

ftp://dd-wrt.com/others/rflow%20collector/

Murrkf, I think he is talking about monitoring bandwidth, not capping it.

you may be able to use iptables logaccept or logdrop (accept if you want to allow, drop if you don't).

for example,

iptables -I FORWARD -s 192.168.1.15 -j logaccept

you could save that command as a ...

it's as easy as connecting to http://192.168.1.1 using a wireless client.

I know many articles on the internet will recommend to use MAC filtering, but in reality it's just a false sense of security. ...
