I cannot find a way to check and set 5GHz Wi-Fi power on Android 4.1.2 (tried on Galaxy Note 2 and Galaxy S2).
Service menu reports N/A on TX power.

Do you also know how to fix the connection loos ...

Sounds correct.

I see 1000mW on the Status.

At this point I need to check on Android its TX power and eventually increase it.

It's so strange that with 1000mW I have 25% of 2.4GHz coverage... ...

Well, exactly.

I've already been trying higher channels, output is still 71mW.

Here higher channel are allowed up to 200mW or 1W.

5GHz Wi-Fi TX Power is set to 71mW and nothing changes increasing it up to 999mW, router seems to ignore this ...

Well, that's probably the issue. You need to use a TTL serial adapter. The RS-232 serial adapter isn't going to work.

Got a new TTL adapter.
