I really doubt that device will support that kind of real life throughput. Try a used E3000, flash it with tomato. You'll be happy. | |

Maybe give the E4200 a shot? V1 is compatible with DD-WRT/Tomato. You'd want to check and see if it's the same switch chip. It offers a few advantages, like a better antenna array.

No one has said anything about using a MAC filter as your only security. So not sure where your comment is coming from, though you are correct. It's very easy to spoof a MAC. | |

I used DD-WRT for some weeks and I used some MAC addresses deny rules and it worked perfectly, but tomato doesn´t work per MAC, only per IP. Does any tip to use it?
