I'd like to use my e3000 as an access point and also be able to monitor an APC UPS battery backup (connected via USB). Any suggestions on which firmware might have the UPS support? | |

You need to use a 3.x kernel build for that dongle, it is driven by the qmi_wwan driver which was first introduced in linux kernel 3.4
