R7000 OpenVPN speeds?

Hi guys,

First post here so please be nice!

I've purchased an R7000 and installed ddwrt which is running very nicely indeed, however the OpenVPN speeds seem to stick at around 30mbit - is this the maximum I can expect due to the CPU or have others seen much better speeds?

I use PIA and get much better speeds from the individual PCS.

I wanted to run OpenVPN on my router just as a matter of convenience but the speed seems to be lacking..

That is about the speed with R7000.

As the R7000 is a Broadcom based unit, you will be getting a better response in the Broadcom Forum.
