Cheers Guys,
im struggling with my DIR-615 ver H2, it seems i can only access emergency room and that's all, i tried many versions but witch exactly has "erase NVram" or "erase boot" command before it starts to upload the FW it seem my boot is messy or my router is dead, i managed to make it stable last night for a while running 28444 but it was in reboot loop after few hours ?? All started since i moved to 28493 Sad

already tried the stock DD-wrt from the site and few others, as well the D-link stock one, and the last BrainSlayer one ??

ok so far, after 2 days, of unsuccessful attempts to recover DIR-615h2 after 29493 upgrade i will pronounced as a dead, it can only goes to recovery room but then after around 50% of update restarts and gets to reboot loop. Any of the tray's end to 45-60% of the update and then reboot loop, any help will be very appreciated Smile

so far so good after i bricked it i have to open the Pandora box to solve the problem
1.U need serial connection on H models where to is shown here:
https://wiki.openwrt.org/toh/d-link/dir-615
2. Puty configured to serial connection com3 speed form the link above as well your
serial USB controller at the same speed options (from device manager >devices by connection)
3.Router On and presume you have buggy dd-wrt FE it will start with u-boot menu in bootloop like mine
you have to press right at the start " 4 " only 4 will give you access to the u-boot command line
4. once you are in the command line menu then read it and press ? for list of commands
(i ve tried TFTP option but it didn't work then decided to give a go on serial recovery via kermit) for windows i used http://kermit.wwarthen.com/Download.htm
6.if you are still in putty U-boot menu enter: loadb the option for kermit recovery will start
and will wait for kermit server to transmit
7.close puty and start kermit make sure it has the same configuration like speed and everything from the first link
8.connect
9.send and make sure the file will be placed in the same directory where kermit is installed then add it and send
10. it will take time long time but you will monitor the progress bar on the kermit interface
11....then once its done if i enter bootm to boot from memory it says bad magic number 48445230...
how to delete mem i tried erase 0x80100000
and then upload via kermit but it didn't work do i have to
erase something else and what?? kermit finishes with 3 retry's if this is important tftp doesn't work any other suggestions ??

"When the upload is complete type the following commands at the U-Boot command line.
erase 0x9f020000 +0x3c0000
cp.b 0x81000000 0x9f020000 0x3c0000
bootm 0x9f020000

These commands erase the NVRAM of the router, removing the old image and all its data, then copies the new image into NVRAM and boots the router from the image."

Any guidance witch values, i have to delete before
kermit serial upload there are some suggestions but i believe they are different!!
