As I posted over on the beta thread I am having issues since upgrading one (of two) DIR-862L.

I upgraded from DD-WRT 28444 - 2015/12/05 to DD-WRT 29739 - 2016/05/19.

I can only access the internet over WiFi(with DCHP enabled in Windows), I cannot get connectivity on any of the LAN ports.

I found that I can access the web gui by manually putting in the IP but no internet connectivity and if I try and release and renew the address it will still come up without any address.

If I plug in the other DIR-862L (or any other router in the house) everything is back to normal.

Any help would be appreciated. TIA.

To test it properly, I'd write down all of your settings(screencap it), and reset it to factory defaults, or ssh in and do a 'erase nvram' and 'reboot' and set up the router from scratch. Sometimes stale settings interfere with new build configs.

I'm sorry I should've been a bit more verbose. I always reset nvram in between flashes. But I did it again still no go. Top light green. Lower light amber (no WAN IP).

Actually I had a thought once I mentioned the connectivity light being amber it reminded me of when I accidentally flashed one of the D-Links with the incorrect firmware and you @tatsuya46 helped me out. I went back and did an emergency flash on the router everything was working normally again with 11-10-2015-r28112. So then when I went to flash to the latest beta I lost my WAN again...

So I know it's about to sound convoluted, here's a recap.

1st D-Link DIR-862L won't work with latest firmware but will run old ones (circa Q4 2015) fine. Doubled checked by flashing in emergency recovery.

2nd D-Link DIR-862L hasn't been updated with latest firmware running fine.

I have to relocate for a bit to another location. I will bring along one of the D-Links and see when the last time everything was working - flash both to that version and report it... unless you have a better idea?

And to think last night I thought I was crazy.. thanks for the info. Will flash in a moment, just got to the other location. Have you already reported the issue? I'm not actually sure how to do that "officially" but clearly something is currently broken.
