I could mod the header of a WA901NDv3 build to flash on v4, but you might brick it, there are differences in CPU, etc. Are you familiar with debricking ? _________________ THERE ARE NO STRANGERS HERE; ONLY FRIENDS YOU HAVEN'T YET MET.

Hey Guys
I just flashed the factory to ddwert (03-31-2016-r29387) on my TL-WA901NDv3.
But now it looks like beeing in reboot loop. I allready tryed the 30/30/30 thing, but did not change anything.
Also the connection Led on the switch it is conncted to is turning on for 1 sec. and then going off again.
Any suggestions.
Thanks in advance. (sorry for the bad englisch)

Unfortunately I too flashed the 03-31-2016-r29387 build and bricked the TL-WA901NDv3. The only way to recover this AP is via serial interface, but that will also require you to solder the 4 pins onto the board. _________________ pfSense i7-4510U + 2x Intel 82574 + 2x Intel i350 Mini-ITX Build

Successful installation and working fine (including LAN port)
Original Firmware Version:3.16.9 Build 141030 Rel.47420n
Hardware Version: WA901ND v3.1
1. 30/30/30 reset
2. Install r29346 using web interface (factory-to-ddwrt.bin)
3. 30/30/30 reset
4. LAN interface not working at this stage, use wifi to connect to DD-WRT ssid, manage web interface on 192.168.1.1
5.
Basic Setup Tab:
WAN Setup - Connection Type = Disabled
Network Setup - Router IP = as desired
WAN Port - Assign WAN port to switch = unticked
DHCP Server - Disable
Networking Tab:
Port Setup - WAN Port Assignment = eth1 (default was eth0)
Note - I did restart at least twice while trying to get the LAN port up - I suspect that the changing the port setup for WAN frees up eth0 for LAN.
Configure additional Wifi security etc as desired.
Anyone else have an issue where devices will sometimes just have no success connecting to the WiFi point until they are given a static internal IP?
I thought this could have been a DHCP issue, but I've got it off and have it setup as a WiFi access point. Any suggestions?
Running version 28139, but as far as I know there's not a reason to upgrade yet and I don't want to risk it - I can upgrade if someone things that will help though.
Edit:
Did a 30/30/30 reset, upgraded to 29519, did another 30/30/30 reset and followed the DD-WRT official wireless access point guide again and the issue persists.
On my Android phone a ! mark appears next to the WiFi symbol and it claims there is "No internet access" when on other devices connected to the same network it works fine.
