I am hoping someone can help me configure 2 DD WRT routers to be able to seamlessly switch from 2 seperate internet connections using the wireless. My house is about 100 ft from my girlfriends moms house next door. We have a huge yard and it is basically together. I would like to have the same SSID for both wireless networks obviosly on 2 seperate channels. All the reading I have done says the routers need to be connected together but that is not an option. I would like to walk next door and have it connect to their network using their internet connection with the same SSID. Is there any special configuration for this or just set it up as is. If possible it would be great to be on the same network to share movies and suh but not completely necesary. Maybe this is a dumb question but any ideas would be greatly appreciated. Thanks In Advance
You would need WDS, which would at least usually require all devices to have the same chipset and best to have identical devices that support WDS. _________________ SIG:
