Hi there, i'm running dd-wrt on a ASUS AC66U v24-sp2 (12/22/14).

I can't seem to make iptables work, even the command

iptables -L

yelds

iptables v1.3.7: can't initialize iptables table `filter': Memory allocation problem
Perhaps iptables or your kernel needs to be upgraded.

i still have 90~Mb free memory

Any ideas?

I mean there have been several threads about this issue in the past.
Please use the search function of the board!

Don't blame me but there might be a bug in some firmeware versions.

I wouldn't post without searching on the forum first.
Sadly i don't see any post refering to my error message.

In case it's a kernel bug, is there a way to make sure it's a bug?
Is there a list or known kernel bugs so i can check if mine is mentioned already?

Have you already tried to use a current firmware version for your Asus AC66U?
e.g. dd-wrt-29837-Asus_RT-AC66U.trx
from Downloads › betas › 2016 › 06-06-2016-r29837 › asus-rt-ac66u
