Hello; I am using the latest version (r30082) of DD-WRT for my Archer C7v2.
Under Access Restriction, I set up Website Blocking for my IP address. However, when I put the websites in the "Website Blocking by URL Address", only the first 7 websites are actually blocked. Any sites I put into slots 8->15 do nothing.
TO REPRODUCE
For example put in the PS3 Update Block List for the URLs (1->7):
Now add a common site, like "google.com" in slot 8. "Apply Settings" and google.com is still accessable. Now move "google.com" into slot 7, "Apply Settings", and google.com is BLOCKED now.
I think this is very serious, since if users are blocking all 13 PS3 update urls, they think they maybe safe from forced updates, and not realize only the first 7 URLs are actually being blocked...
Can someone confirm this bug on the latest firmware? Or am I just doing something silly. I've attached pictures of the settings. 192.168.0.195 is my PS3 IP, however I added 192.168.0.111 (IP of my laptop) for testing under IP02.
Ah thanks, is the "Additional DNSMasq Options" the prefered way to block sites then? I do like doing things via scripts commands, but I'd sooner block just the sites for 1 IP (the PS3) and not everyone on the network (like it's allowed under "Access Restrictions")...
The https sites do not matter in my case, it's not the https which are the concern, it's that only 7 of the 15 fields in "Website Blocking by URL Address" actually block URLs...
