New member here. I didn't know exactly where to put this question, so please route it to the appropriate forum. I am trying to find out if dd-wrt running on a Netgear R6300 v1 or v2 will let me assign IP addresses for a different subnet than 192.168.1.x. I want the R6300 to be the router for a VLAN addressed at 192.168.20.1/24. Whenever I attempt to configure the stock R6300 with a new LAN IP of 192.168.20.2, it complains about a subnet mask conflict and won't change the address. I need to get the LAN IP address into the 192.168.20.0/24 range so that I can make router configuration changes at a later date. Will dd-wrt let me do it?
