Would it be possible to run either CGI Proxy or PHProxy on DDWRT?

If no chance either will work can anyone recomend anything else? I have a very strict proxy I want to work around, I would tunnel over SSH but all the proxy allows is HTTP and HTTPS.

why not change ssh port number to use either 80 or 443?

I did try that but the proxy must detect the type of traffic I think as it fails, the only thing I can get to work are http and https websites.

i'd be interested to know too if a router can handle cgiproxy. im not sure if the memory and processor is sufficient.

you can either get a domain and install php or cgiproxy there or install cgiproxy in your home machine.

I'm using phproxy on my webspace at the moment and its working well but it would be nice to use it from my home network.
