Yes, the other ports are gigabit. I would not recommend the E1700 for ddwrt. As port 2 doesn't work, and there's some throughput issue on some version after 25251.
Too late. Purchased E1700 for ddwrt. I made the purchase after seeing "Supported: yes" in the router database.
Had it been wip, I would have looked more into it.
I can live with just port 2 not working. I was concerned because someone said that their ports became 100mbps after flashing dd-wrt. I'm now worried about the WiFi performance issue mentioned earlier in this thread. Is there anywhere I can follow/help (if possible) the development?
No, I dont think so. This was reported over a year ago. I wouldn't expect it to get fixed unless you try some recent builds and its magically working. Just make sure with recent builds that you don't get impacted WiFi.
Is there a chance than LAN2 will works in future releases? And there is another problem, when Disable WAN (assign it to switch) and using E1700 as dummy AP / switch with uplink connected to WAN - it is works with WiFi, but it don't works with LANs port. When i reconnect it to LAN1,3,4 - it's works with WiFi and with LAN's (except LAN2), but, as it was expected, did not works with WAN.
It's "magic" router with only 144 mbit WiFi:
Stock firmware (1.0.04): bad wireless speed (not stable, about 2-6 MB/s, i can't make N300 HT40 speeds works), all LANs works good;
DD-WRT (v3.0-r37442): average wireless speed (stable, about 10 MB/s, i can't make N300 HT40 speeds works), LAN port 2 did not works, WAN can't be assigned to LAN;
OpenWrt (18.06.01): wireless did not working at all (very low signal, connection not stable), all LAN ports works good at 1 gigabit, WAN can be assigned to LAN.
I don't understand, why Linksys make such devices - gigabit LAN with 144 mbit (no N300!!!) wireless with very poor stock firmware?
upd
I can make works HT40 (N300) on DD-WRT with intel AC7260 and achieve stable 16 MB/s, but it was one time after notebook wake up, than i can't reproduce HT40 anymore. And - still have issue with LAN2 and WAN to LAN switch assign.
I have done with assign WAN to LAN (through VLAN), but LAN2 still don't work (just 100 mbit connection instead of 1000 mbit is showing in 'swconfig dev mt7530 show' and no luck to get it works).
Im testing the latest firmware and i dont have gigabit ports on my pc. So far its working fine with linksys hga7s 7dbi antennas at 50ft away. All i use is the wifi. If u want more info just ask me.
Ps how do i email notifications on threads and how to change password? I cant find usercp like other forums.

So i believe im having throughput issues since my e2500 is faster loading websites. Its the rx rate report 1 megabit yet tx reports 270 megabit. Why is the rx rate so slow compared to the tx rate on all ddwrt routers i tested?
