First, if this topic is known and already well-discussed, forgive this post. I've spent about an hour looking for an answer on the forum and elsewhere.
I have DD-WRT v3.0-r30681 std (09/22/16) on TP Link WR 1043 v3 that is working perfectly except for one issue.
I can't add Virtual Interfaces unbridged. When I attempt to put in a submask of 255.255.255.0 in the values for the unbridged Virt. Interface, I get a pop-up alert that says that the first 255 value is out of range (suggest value of 1-223).
I've configured virtual interfaces on other routers with other versions of dd-wrt.
However, this router doesn't want to play.
If I do attempt to add a valid values in the IP and Subnet sections of the VI dialog, neither SAVE nor APPLY will save their values. The system completely ignores any user input.
Is this a known issue with my router/version and if not, what are possible causes and workarounds?
Otherwise, dd-wrt seems to be functioning okay on this unit. I can, in fact, set up BRIDGED Virtual Interfaces, just not UNBRIDGED ones.
Flummoxed.
Thanks for your help.

Yes I did. All I saw on that bug report (at the time) was for the save/apply issue, not the issue of disallowing valid subnet values. Those have since been commented into that bug report.
Now, on a third look, I do see an earlier comment that leads to another conversation about the subnet issue.
Thanks!
