Anybody know if the NETGEAR Nighthawk X6 AC3000 (costco version) can be flashed like the AC3200?

No, R7900 is not same as R8000 and R7900 is not yet supported by dd-wrt as it is not listed on the Supported Devices List: http://www.dd-wrt.com/wiki/index.php/Supported_Devices

You may have better luck with openwrt. Do a search for R7900 on openwrt forum.

it has been quite a while since the last post was more than two years old just wondering if there was any update on the firware for the R7900P at DDWRT.
