Good day!Very Happy

I just updated my DIR-300 with dir300-firmware.bin from r2xxxx to r30805 and it seems to have a corrupted GUI.

The router was on factory defaults and i flashed through DD-WRT's web interface. It said the flashing was successful but when I tried to access the web GUI, it only shows an incomplete/broken log in page that doesn't load.

I can still ping 192.168.1.1 and access telnet but the problem is, the commands I input doesn't get recognized and it just gives a "not found" error.(ex. -sh fis init not found)

Telnet says it has DD-WRT 3.0 r30805m. Any advice on what to do? thank you in advance for the replies.Smile

Hello.

what do you mean "check with "ps" "?

I erased nvram and rebooted and it still gives the same. I'm using a fresh install of google chrome w/ almost no browsing data yet btw.

Here's what i encounter during log in.

Btw, are there new sets of commands for flashing through telnet?

The old guide I used before doesn't seem to work anymore.

https://www.dd-wrt.com/wiki/index.php/D-Link_DIR300_rev_A#Recovery_and_Upgrade

fis init, load etc wont get recognized by r30805m DD-WRT>.

ps is a command u run in telnet, "ps" shows all running processes.

telnet upgrade/downgrade http://www.dd-wrt.com/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?p=347283#347283

for wget u enter it like "wget http://whateversite/folder/firmwarefilenamehere.bin"

for write u do "write firmwarefilenamehere.bin linux"

make sure for that ur using the webflash, not factory/initial flash file.

I was finally able to revert it to the previous version I was using (r29612).

I was trying wget to work before but failed. Does the wget command really need the router to have an internet access or is it possible to use a tftp server for this? ex: wget 192.168.1.2/server/dd-wrt.xx.bin

I'd like to know incase cabled internet access is unavailable.

Thanks a lot btw!Smile also, can anyone recommend the most stable version for this device? r29621m gave to much tx errors for me. Thanks in advance.Smile
