Hello,

I currently run a WRT54GS
DD-WRT v24-sp2 (08/07/10) micro - build 14896

and my issue has been persistent lately. Everytime I boot up any WiFi device running Windows 7, the network can never automatically connect.

Sometimes it doesn't show up in the Wireless Connections list, sometimes it says "Limited Access" and I need to disconnect and reconnect a few times.

Can anyone please tell me how to fix this issue so that my devices can automatically connect right away as soon as I boot them up.

Thanks

Update to at least 14929
Make sure your network settings are correct. Should have gateway IP set.
Should also be using WPA2 personal (aes) wireless security.

If still having problems after updating you might change out the power supply. These old routers sometimes start having capacitor failure.
Any further help you need state what version it is and exactly what your setup is.... gateway / WAP / some type bridge?????

Also you should have wireless mode set to G only ....unless you still have an old 802.11b client device.

Please read the peacock announcement. It probably contains all you need.
