hi!

I need help with my wireless bridge (tp841v10 newest beta ddwrt) connecting to another tp841v10 sharing the cableinet from the modem. on heavy download the bridgerouter doesnot respond anymore, or very slow, logon and software reboot doest help anyway. just pushing the powerbutton and reconnect help to get inet back. pc->10.0.0.142bridge->10.0.0.141wirless->10.0.0.138 modem. 10.0.0.141 is connect via lan to the modem. Why this happend just under full download after 5minutes up to 10?

The bridge (.142) just with the modem (.138) without the AP (.141) worked well, without any problems. However the signal was poor so i have to get AP (.141) with more gain and better antennas in the game.

Is this problem already known?

Client Bridge or Repeater Bridge?
As far as I know there is no Bridge mode (just Bridge).

Use WDS if both routers are Atheros or both Broadcom.

https://www.dd-wrt.com/wiki/index.php/WDS_Linked_router_network

Client bridge (routed) is a hacked, very buggy way of doing something that WDS was made for. If you do not want to extend the wifi signal farther (from the WDS AP, out farther to the extent of the WDS Station), just don't create a virtual interface (the optional step in the process).

OK, now i did setup for WDS

modem -> .138 (lan)-> WDS AP .141 -> WDS Station .142 -> Virtual Interface WDS AP -> PC

Under high download after 5 up to 10 min .142 is no longer responding,

just power off / on helps.

tp841 v10 both

.138 dhcp on
.141 foreward dhcp

no clue.
help needed

here an update.

i rearranged the routers for better connection. now up to 80% signal quality including update to newest beta..

Reduction of the dsl cabel resulted in more stable dsl synq.
( i put the modem to the spot were the cable enters the housewall)

however 300mbit in bridge modus with tp841 v10 are still not possible.

no more connections loose of the bridge.
i think problem solved

cheers
