hi!
I need help with my wireless bridge (tp841v10 newest beta ddwrt) connecting to another tp841v10 sharing the cableinet from the modem. on heavy download the bridgerouter doesnot respond anymore, or very slow, logon and software reboot doest help anyway. just pushing the powerbutton and reconnect help to get inet back. pc->10.0.0.142bridge->10.0.0.141wirless->10.0.0.138 modem. 10.0.0.141 is connect via lan to the modem. Why this happend just under full download after 5minutes up to 10?
The bridge (.142) just with the modem (.138) without the AP (.141) worked well, without any problems. However the signal was poor so i have to get AP (.141) with more gain and better antennas in the game.

Client Bridge or Repeater Bridge?
As far as I know there is no Bridge mode (just Bridge). _________________ Before asking a question on the forums, update dd-wrt: Where do I download firmware? I suggest reading it all.

Atheros:
Netgear R7800 x3 - WDS AP / station, gateway, QoS
TP-Link Archer C7 v2 x2 - WDS Station
TP-Link TL-WDR3600 v1 - WDS Station
TP-Link 841nd v8 - NU
D-Link 615 C1/E3/I1 x 7 - 1 WDS station
D-Link 825 B1 - NU
D-Link 862L A1 x2 - WDS Station
Netgear WNDR3700v2 - NU
UBNT loco M2 x2 - airOS
Broadcom
Linksys EA6400 - Gateway, QoS
Asus N66U - AP
Netgear WNDR3700v3 - not used
MediaTek
UBNT EdgeRouter X - switch
Client bridge (routed) is a hacked, very buggy way of doing something that WDS was made for. If you do not want to extend the wifi signal farther (from the WDS AP, out farther to the extent of the WDS Station), just don't create a virtual interface (the optional step in the process). _________________ Before asking a question on the forums, update dd-wrt: Where do I download firmware?
