|
Have a 1900AC which has been running Kong's firmware for a while.
Lost power earlier this week, and the router went into a continuous reboot cycle when coming back up. System comes up, 2.4g light comes on, internet light amber, and then system reboots.
Hard-reset the router to its factory configuration, downloaded and installed the Kong's 01.08.17, and reconfigured the router.
Now, every time the router reboots, same thing happens. Basically I have to factory-reset and then reconfigure (I have since "streamlined" this process my backing up my configuration to a file which I then upload and nvram restore... but still.... its a PITFA)
Anyone have thoughts on what I should try before I trash the router and go buy a replacement? I need a reliable connection -- if I'm not home and I lose power, the whole house network (which my wife relies on to do her job) goes away until I get home. |
