So I just had ATT fiber installed and noticed that when im connected directly to ATT UVerse's router I get 347MBPS Down and 347MBPS Up. But when I try to hook up to my E3000 router with DD-WRT v24-sp2 (03/25/13) mega firmware my speed goes down to 87MBPS down and 87 MBPS up. I love this router I cant understand why im not getting the same speed when I connect it.

Thanks for your help.

I would say that is darn good with the 480 MHz CPU in the E3000 running dd-wrt.

nope...not correct, many DD-WRT supported routers will do even better, just look for R7800, R7500, R7000

So If I purchase one of those, I will get the full internet speeds from Uverse. Are there any routers I can purchase without the wifi. I dont even use the wifi on my E3000 because I have a unfi WAP
