I have a Fonera router with DDwrt firmware.
I need go in hotel and there isn't wifi in Hotel but only lan cable.
Is it possible set ddwrt in DHCP mode? I connect the fonera to LAN and I have wifi connection without configuration.
Is it possible?
you do need to set it up first, even if you want just to use the switch... _________________ Atheros

To be on different subnet and protected from others at hotel -
Plug hotel line into your router's WAN port.
If you get a WAN IP in the 192.168.1.x subnet it would be best to change your routers LAN to something other than dd-wrt default of 192.168.1.1
e.g. Change your LAN to 192.168.23.1
