I have a Fonera router with DDwrt firmware.
I need go in hotel and there isn't wifi in Hotel but only lan cable.
Is it possible set ddwrt in DHCP mode? I connect the fonera to LAN and I have wifi connection without configuration.
Is it possible?

you do need to set it up first, even if you want just to use the switch...

?? I don't understand... is it possible to connect the AP to lan cable and it takes automatically IP address?

To be on different subnet and protected from others at hotel -
Plug hotel line into your router's WAN port.
If you get a WAN IP in the 192.168.1.x subnet it would be best to change your routers LAN to something other than dd-wrt default of 192.168.1.1
e.g. Change your LAN to 192.168.23.1

Set your wireless how ever you want.

I just don't know why you would want on same subnet as hotel when you have your own
router and can simply plug their LAN into your WAN port.

If your hotel will agree to give you more than one IP for one it's port. Try to disable DD-WRT own DHCP server and use your router like AP.
