Hi,

I am all day to trying fixing my connection drop, i just flashed today my brandnew r7800 to de latest kongac and tried also the old one.

I have a down 200/200 up @ home.

But the max what i get it = 120/15 ?? Does someone know why?
Because the R7000 was working perfect.

Btw my menu firmware is very slow any fix for this ?

What i try?

Back to stock and back to old build
Back to stock and brand new build
nvram always reset with flashing

nothing works.

Most VPN providers do not give you more than 20Mb/s
In all cases test the VPN with the VPN server closest to you.
In some cases the ISP throttles VPN, test with different non standard ports e.g. 443.

The R7800 is supposed to do well over 700Mb/s without the VPN and over 300Mb/s on VPN (I do not own one myself Sad )

well do keep in mind with stock firmware there is CTF cut through forwarding witch is a kind of a acceleration and its not DD-WRT supported due to security issues and so DD-WRT uses software NAT instead witch is router CPU dependant...
Also bear in mind VPN speeds depends on encryption used so if you use the lowest level it will be faster than highest level encryption VPN
